TAO
A familiar Vegas nightlife name for groups, tables, and celebrations.
- Type
- Nightclub
- Property
- The Venetian
- Best for
- Group celebrations
Is TAO right for your group?
Good fit
- Hip-hop and top 40 crowds
- Groups who want a smaller, more social room
- Venetian and Palazzo guests
- Sunday-night visitors, thanks to Ritual Sundays
Bryan might suggest somewhere else
- Electronic headliner fans
- Very large groups needing scale
- Monday through Wednesday visitors, when it is closed
What to expect
- The room
- TAO is deliberately smaller than the mega-clubs, Tao Group puts it at 10,000 square feet with three bars, a single dance floor, eight private sky boxes overlooking the room, and a 40-foot outdoor terrace. The Asian-inspired décor and the well-known bathtub models are part of the signature. Because it is one dance floor rather than several levels, the room feels full and social early rather than cavernous.
- Music and programming
- TAO runs hip-hop and top 40 rather than electronic headliners, which makes it a genuinely different choice from most of this list. Tao Group lists recurring nights including Worship Thursdays and Ritual Sundays, and the venue operates Thursday through Sunday.
- Dress code
- Upscale nightclub dress. The crowd tends to dress sharply rather than formally. Athletic wear, shorts, sandals and work boots are the standard refusals.
- Arrival and timing
- A smaller room fills earlier in the night than a big one. Getting there near doors matters more here than at a venue with room to absorb a late crowd.
- What drives the cost
- TAO is generally more accessible than the electronic flagship rooms, and the sky boxes give you a private option without the dance-floor premium. What you are paying for here is atmosphere and sight lines rather than scale. Bryan confirms current minimums for your night and group size.

Before you book TAO
What music does TAO play?
Hip-hop and top 40, per Tao Group. That is the clearest reason to choose it over the electronic-driven rooms, or to skip it if that is not your group.
What are the sky boxes?
Eight private spaces overlooking the main floor with their own bottle service. Good middle ground if you want privacy without paying for floor placement.
Is TAO too small for my group?
At 10,000 square feet it is compact by Strip standards. Large groups still work, but it feels tighter than Omnia or Hakkasan. Bryan will say plainly if your numbers are a poor fit.
What nights is TAO open?
Thursday through Sunday, with recurring nights including Worship Thursdays and Ritual Sundays.
