- Tao Group describes Hakkasan as "a five-level space that offers a variety of environments," and that vertical layout is the whole point, the main room is a full-scale concert-style space, while other levels run smaller and more contained. One of them, The Studio, hosts its own programming rather than acting as overflow. Practically, it means a group can move between very different energies without leaving the building.

- The main room is an electronic headliner room, while The Studio has run R&B-leaning nights midweek. Hakkasan operates Wednesday through Saturday. Which artist plays which level changes by night, so the lineup is worth checking against your date rather than assuming.
- Dress code
- Standard upscale nightclub dress. Collared shirt or an elevated top, dress shoes or clean fashion sneakers; no athletic wear, shorts, sandals or work boots.
- Arrival and timing
- Because the club spans five levels, entry and getting to your level both take time. Arriving near doors is the difference between walking in and standing in a stairwell. Table groups should build in extra time here compared with a single-floor room.
- What drives the cost
- Minimums vary sharply by level and by night here, more than at most Strip clubs, because you are effectively choosing between several different rooms. What nights is Hakkasan open?
Tao Group lists Wednesday through Saturday. If your trip is Sunday through Tuesday, Bryan will point you to a room that is actually operating.
What is The Studio?
A separate space inside Hakkasan with its own programming rather than a spillover area. It has run R&B-leaning nights, which is a different feel from the electronic main room.
Which level should my table be on?
This is the decision that matters most at Hakkasan and the one most groups get wrong. Bryan will ask what you actually want from the night before recommending a level, because the price gap between them is significant.
Is it a lot of walking?
Yes. Five levels means stairs and movement. If anyone in your group would rather stay put, a table changes the experience considerably.
