Is Drai's After Hours right for your group?
Good fit
- Groups still going after 2 AM
- People who prefer smaller rooms to mega-clubs
- Hip-hop and open format crowds
- Center-Strip trips
Bryan might suggest somewhere else
- Anyone expecting the old rooftop and Strip views
- Groups planning an early night
- Guests wanting a large-scale production room
What to expect
- The room
- This is a deliberate return to a smaller, darker, later room. Victor Drai framed the move as going "back to the basics," and Dustin Drai described the aim as nightlife "before the trend of mega-clubs." The space is the original basement room the brand started in back in 1997, so the scale and feel are closer to a proper late-night club than to a Strip mega-venue.
- Music and programming
- Programming leans hip-hop and open format and runs late, this is the room people go to after another club closes, not instead of one. Because the format changed recently, treat any lineup information you find elsewhere as potentially out of date and confirm with Bryan.
- Dress code
- Stylish and night-appropriate. After-hours rooms tend to be marginally more relaxed than prime-time flagship clubs, but athletic wear and beachwear are still the wrong call.
- Arrival and timing
- This is the opposite of a doors-open venue, it fills late, after other clubs wind down. Plan it as the back half of a night rather than the start of one.
- What drives the cost
- An after-hours room prices differently from a prime-time club, and the smaller footprint means fewer tables and a different kind of demand. For a group that wants somewhere to land at 3 AM, it is usually a more sensible spend than a second prime-time table. Bryan confirms what is current.

Before you book Drai's After Hours
Is the Drai's rooftop still open?
No. The rooftop nightclub and beachclub closed after Halloween 2025 and the space is becoming a resort pool. Drai's now operates in the basement as an after-hours room.
What time does it actually get going?
It runs roughly 10 PM to dawn, Wednesday through Sunday, but the point of an after-hours room is the late half. Most groups arrive after another venue closes.
Is this at The Cromwell or The Vanderpump Hotel?
Same building. The Cromwell is rebranding as The Vanderpump Hotel, so you may see either name depending on how current the source is.
Should this be my only club of the night?
Usually not. It works best as the second stop. Bryan will normally build a prime-time venue first and treat this as where the night ends.
